On the occasion of the Stader Utility Pool launch, $50,000 is up for grabs for node operators. To become eligible for the rewards, one needs to run ETHx validators.

Reward structure

• Each validator will get $80
• Only the first 20 validators per node operator are eligible for the rewards
• Maximum reward any node operator can get $80*20 = $1600
• Validators are rewarded on a first come first serve basis

Criteria

• Validators have to utilize at least 0.6 ETH worth of SD per validator from the Utility Pool to become eligible for the rewards
• Existing node operators can also make use of it if they add new validators & utilize at least 0.6 ETH worth of SD per additional validator from the Pool

Rewards disbursal

• 50% of rewards will be distributed in the first 2 weeks; rest 50% will be distributed after 3 months (~1st week of June)

FAQs

• How can I become eligible for the $50,000 giveaway? Are stakers also a part of this?

  This giveaway is ONLY FOR VALIDATORS running 4 ETH nodes with ETHx. Stakers are NOT eligible for the same.

  All node operators who utilise an average of 0.6 ETH worth of $SD from the Pool automatically become eligible for the giveaway. Existing node operators can become eligible by utilising 0.6 ETH worth of SD per additional validator from the Pool while adding new validators.

  P.S.: Please note that the SD utilised is split across all the validators on that node. The selection criterion is average of 0.6 ETH worth of SD utilised per validator.

• I am running 15 ETHx validators. What is the reward I am eligible for?

  You’ll receive 15*$80 = $1200 if you spin 15 ETHx validators

• What will be the rewards if I run 12 ETHx validators now with SD Utility Pool & spin 6 down after 2 months?

  Since you started with 12 validators, you’ll get in first batch: $(12*80)50% = $480 After 2 months, since only 6 validators will be live, you shall receive: $(680)*50% = $240

  Total rewards received: $480 + $240 = $720
